Anne Lees
Anne has over 20 years experience in the customer service
industry, including 15 at management level. She began her
career with British Airways at Heathrow Airport, remaining
there in a variety of roles for 10 years gaining valuable
experience in the airline industry, before moving onto
the new and exciting world of Telecommunications on her
return to N Ireland.
Anne became self employed in 2003, firstly as a Business
Improvement Consultant and latterly has specialised in
assessment centres for a number of blue chip companies
throughout Ireland, as both an assessor and event manager.
During the last 3 years Anne saw potential improvements
to the recruitment service being offered to employers that
she wanted to put into practice in a business of her own,
and The Job Spot was born.
The Job Spot
The Job Spot was founded with the aim of bringing a fresh
approach to recruitment into customer contact roles within
N Ireland. Because none of our consultants are paid on
a commission basis you can be sure you'll get unbiased,
objective advice. It may be contrary to industry norms
and possibly goes against your perceptions too, but it
is, we believe, the way that recruitment should be.
Our own consultants are recruited on the basis of their
assessment ability and not sales experience. Their focus
is not on attracting new jobs onto our database, but making
sure we fill those jobs with the right people. We also
look for a variety of experience in different industries
from our own consultants so that you can be confident we
know what we are talking about and can understand your
industry - not just have the narrow experience of the recruitment
industry alone.
We do not just take candidate details and match them on
paper to a job description – we go further. Each
of our candidates undergoes a competency-based interview
with us before we suggest any role to them. Although time
consuming, this exercise is vitally important as we aim
to be judged on quality and not quantity.
We prefer to visit our client sites to get a feel for
their company ethos and management style, and we get to
know our candidates well, believing that the better the
match between a candidate's personality and values, with
those of the employing company, the more successful the
relationship is likely to be. The secret lies in cultural
fit.
