BNI is a 24 year old business and professional organisation that allows only one person from each trade or profession to join a chapter. With over 5,291 active chapters, and 111,733 members, it is the most successful business referral organisation in the world.

How long do the meetings last?
A:
The meetings are weekly meetings which last an hour and a half, but you can network before and after the event with other members. By coming as a visitor, you can experience the full flavour of a meeting with no obligation to join at all.You may even walk away with valuable new contacts and even new business.

How will this benefit my business?
A:
By coming to a meeting , you'll see genuine referrals that members pass to other members. In short, all members try to help and recommend other members ......it's like having your own sales team working for you .

Is it true you only allow one person per profession to join?

Yes. In this way, your competition is blocked out so that other members can focus on you.

How much are the joining fees?
A:
If you come as a visitor, you'll be made aware of all this at the meeting and are encouaged to ask current members whether they are getting value for money out of BNI. In fact, one of our members has been a member of BNI for over 10 years. As a visitor you will be asked to contribute £10 towards the cost of your cooked breakfast and meeting facilities.

How can I make everyone aware of my business at the meeting?
A:
Everyone gets a chance to speak for 60 secs. at the meeting. This includes visitors. You'll also be mingling with members before and after the meeting.

Are there any refreshments?
A:
Yes, buffet style fully cooked or a continental breakfast with tea/coffee and juice before, during and after the meeting.
