Sorry, your browser doesn't support Java(tm).

People do business with people they know like and trust and being referred to someone because the person referring them trusts them helps to open doors that are otherwise kept shut.

BNI provides a structured, proven system for the development and exchange of quality business referrals. It is the largest business networking organization of its kind, with over 5000 chapters in operation in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia and Puerto Rico.

BNI is the most successful organisation of its type in the world; there are currently over 5000 chapters in operation worldwide. Members of BNI last year passed over 5.5 million referrals which translated into over £1.1billion in business being done between the members.

Of these totals over 550,000 were passed in the UK and Ireland resulting in over £185million worth of business for our members last year. The philosophy of BNI is based on “givers gain” – if I give you the opportunity to do business, you will want to do the same for someone in the group. In other words, “what goes around comes around”.

Our operating philosophy is 'Givers Gain', and since we allow only one person from any profession to join our chapter, you can become a part of that Circle of Giving. When you join a BNI chapter, you lock in your position and lock out your competition.

    Our Mission
To practice the givers gain philosophy of business networking, by helping fellow professionals achieve business growth through qualified word-of-mouth referrals, education, training and modeling.

This week we were finally treated to a long overdue presentation from Mark Watkins of Tailored Mobiles UK. Tailored Mobiles do exactly what they say on the tin, tailored business to business mobile packages providing cost effective voice and data solutions. Have a look at the TM's website through Mark's link on our members page. It carries a wealth of useful and topical information about the mobile market and the latest products. Tailored Mobiles will be happy to review your business mobile bill and suggest areas where you might save. In fact you can upload a recent bill for auditing and one of the team will be in touch for a chat.

We were pleased to welcome Lisa McGrogan from Macmillan Cancer Support as our visitor. Lisa spoke for a moment or two to remind us about the wonderful work Macmillan do to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. It's great to know that every penny raised here in Northern Ireland stays in Northern Ireland. Bottom:  Chapter Director Trevor Bradfield with Lisa McGrogan from Macmillan Cancer Support.
